Why does it make me feel this way?

Bring your child to the stage! Join the dancers of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, violinist Peter Sirotin, and pianist Ya-Ting Chang on the Whitaker Center stage for a journey through the rich world of human emotion. For centuries, music and dance have helped us understand a number of emotions from joy and contentment to anger and nostalgia. In an interactive setting, your child will explore a variety of emotions and learn how the combination of sound and movement captures and communicates the human experience.

Led by CPYB DiscoverDance coordinator and faculty member, Re Rabassi-Davis and Market Square Concert’s Artistic Director, Peter Sirotin, Sound and Movement  features performances by CPYB dancers with live music by Harrisburg Symphony’s Concertmaster and violinist, Peter Sirotin and Executive Director of Market Square Concerts and pianist, Ya-Ting Chang.
