2010 Teachers’ Workshop

Sunday, August 15 – Friday, August 20, 2010

Focusing on the syllabus of world-renowned ballet teacher, Marcia Dale Weary. At the CPYB Teachers’ Workshop, you will watch classes taught by Marcia and the CPYB faculty. After classes each day, Darla Hoover, CPYB´s Associate Artistic Director and former alumna, and Ms. Weary hold interactive seminars that examine and critique teaching methods and the CPYB syllabus.

One of the most beneficial aspects of the workshop is meeting with colleagues from other ballet schools and companies. You will have time to explore other schools’ philosophies and successes and determine if your school needs to redirect its efforts.
