2010 CPYB Teachers Workshop

CPYB’s Teachers Workshop focuses on the syllabus of one of the nation’s foremost instructors of classical ballet, Marcia Dale Weary. You will observe classes taught by Ms. Weary and the CPYB faculty. After classes each day, Darla Hoover, CPYB´s Associate Artistic Director and former alumna, and Ms. Weary hold interactive seminars that examine and critique teaching methods and the CPYB syllabus.
One of the most beneficial aspects of the workshop is meeting with colleagues from other ballet schools and companies. You will have time to explore other schools’ philosophies and successes and determine if your school needs to redirect its efforts.
