Teachers Workshop
The CPYB Teachers Workshop provides a distinctive learning environment to study the proven syllabus developed by Marcia Dale Weary, one of the nation’s foremost instructors of classical ballet.
The workshop is led by Founding Artistic Director Marcia Dale Weary and Associate Artistic Director and alumna Darla Hoover. Daily observation of classes and interactive seminars encourage instructors from around the world to exchange ideas and share effective teaching methodologies.

Tuition:
Tuition for the 2012 CPYB Teachers Workshop is $750.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the applicant's place and must be received by July 2, 2012.
Housing:
Residential housing is not available for CPYB's Teachers Workshop. Lodging is available at the nearby Comfort Suites hotel located at 10 South Hanover Street in Carlisle. The Comfort Suites is the exclusive provider of hotel accommodations for CPYB programs and is located within walking distance to the studios in downtown Carlisle. For reservations please call 717.960.1000 or 1.800.704.1188. Be sure to mention code LCPYBP. Reservations must be made by Thursday, July 12 in order to take advantage of the CPYB room block.

Observations
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Beginner classes
10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Intermediate classes
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Advanced classes (optional)
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Lunch
Interactive Sessions: Syllabus
2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Hands-on sessions in the studio with Ms. Weary, Ms. Hoover
and CPYB faculty members.
5:00 - 5:30 p.m. Break
Evening Sessions*
5:30–7:00 p.m. Evening sessions on various subjects such as choreography for beginning students, pas de deux for beginners, and more.
*Please note that evening sessions are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
