A gripping tale of eternal love
The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's production of the internationally ballet Giselle comes to the Whitaker Center stage! Giselle marks Alan Hineline's world premiere staging of desire, deception, betrayal and forgiveness from beyond the grave in the story of a young peasant girl cruelly betrayed by a nobleman disguised as a commoner.

Join restager and choreographer Alan Hineline and Cheung Chau, Central Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra conductor, along with Truman Bullard, Dickinson College Professor Emeritus of Music and Symphony bassoonist, for Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's pre-performance Q & A. They will share their thoughts on the passionate acting, exciting score, breathtaking dancing, and captivating story of Giselle, "the classic of all ballet classics."
