2011/2012 Season

Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet unveils its 2011/12 season of dance, a brilliant collection of works kicking off with the rollicking new production Carnival of the Animals. Festive spirits abound as the magic unfolds in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker—a perennial favorite no family will want to miss. In April, external passions are kindled in Giselle, the gripping tale of timeless proportion. The season closes with June Series, an invigorating program that displays dance at its finest: innovative, moving and highly entertaining.
