A Message from the CEO

Throughout the world Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet is synonymous with superior ballet training. To those who know us well, the heart of what we represent is hope. I am continually moved by that hope present in every corner of this institution: In the parent who wants to provide their child with outstanding opportunities. In the young dancer who dreams of dancing on stage. In the potential that each faculty member sees as our youngest learners walk into the studio.

During 2010/2011 A Season of Celebration, you’re going to notice changes to the face of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet–a newly realized identity mark, a re-envisioned cpyb.org, and a new approach to increasing awareness of this essential cornerstone of culture and education. As always, CPYB will continue to provide the same great training that has touched so many lives.

All of us at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet are thrilled to bring you the best in classical ballet. As the curtain goes up on 2010/2011, we hope you’ll become a closer part of our family and help us keep the hope alive.

Alan Hineline
Chief Executive Officer and Resident Choreographer
