Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet announces its magnificent and captivating 2010/2011 A Season of Celebration featuring a dynamic collection of works beginning with Hansel & Gretel, a delightful adaptation of the Grimms’ fairy tale. The merriment continues as we indulge in the much-loved holiday classic, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™–a tradition without which the holidays would not be complete. In April, you’ll savor the romantic epic, Swan Lake, where good triumphs over evil. The season concludes with June Series, an entertaining repertory program that displays dance in its purest form.
